Dinosaur Valley State Park

Located just northwest of Glen Rose, the park covers just over 1,500 acres and offers an abundance of outdoor opportunities from hiking to biking. The park is in close proximity to the Paluxy River. Tent camping and RV spaces are also available but be sure and make your reservations well in advance to reserve your space.
Granbury Ghost and Legend Tours
Open every Friday and Saturday night at 7:00pm and 9:15pm.
Our renowned Ghosts and Legend Tour will take you around our Historic Square where you will be told about the famous and infamous characters of the past…and maybe the…and maybe the present? Stories about the Lady in Red, the Faceless Girl, John Wilkes Booth, Jesse James and many others. Be prepared to NOT be scared, but entertained…it’s just good fun.
Last Mile Cemetery Tour
$10.00 per person
Open: Friday and Saturday night at 10:45 Tours are by Reservation Only.
You’ll meet at a designated location on the Square, then be given instructions about the tour. This historically based tour will visit grave sites of several Granbury founding members and residents including General Granbury, Ashley Crockett (grandson of David) grave site of outlaw Jesse James and many other interesting characters. BRING YOUR OWN FLASHLIGHT!

These windmills are representative of the actual mills used in this part of Texas. Each has been restored to the mills original condition and each functions as designed. Spend as much time as you wish, walk around or just drive through. Some windmills are always in operation. New ones are being added as they are restored. May see restorations in progress.
